This popular video game arcade was a fixture within the North Kent Mall, which opened in 1971. For years, it served as a social hub and entertainment destination for many local residents, offering a wide array of classic and contemporary arcade games. The arcade, along with the mall itself, went into a period of decline towards the end of the 20th century. Aladdin’s Castle ultimately ceased operations before the North Kent Mall was permanently closed and demolished in March 2001.
