Aladdin’s Castle: Independence Center

Aladdin’s Castle was a popular arcade located within the Independence Center shopping mall. As a part of a large national chain, it offered a family-friendly environment for patrons to play a wide variety of arcade and redemption games. The broader company was founded in 1969 with the goal of creating arcades in more welcoming spaces like shopping malls. While many locations thrived through the 1980s, the entire Aladdin’s Castle chain eventually ceased operations under its original branding, with the final location being renamed in 2021.
