Located inside the Courthouse Center or The Courthouse Commons, formerly attached to The Commons indoor community park, was one of 2 Jungle Jim’s locations known to have existed in Columbus in the early 1980s.

As a fun bit of history, the owner of Jungle Jim’s was Harold Tice, who was quite the enterprising fellow. He wanted to take Pac-Man boards and install them into other less popular game cabinets. The concept of conversion kits was not yet a thing for the arcade industry in early 1982, although it later became quite popular. In the 1990’s the JAMMA standard was born from this very idea. Sadly, Tice was just ahead of his time.
