Malibu Fun Center

Located at 11150 Malibu Drive in northwest Dallas, the venue originally opened as part of the Malibu Grand Prix complex in spring 1980, featuring miniature Indy car racing tracks, a “Castle” arcade with video games and pinball machines, and miniature golf courses. Later, the site also included a “Showboat” fun center with an arcade, additional miniature golf, and a water park. In spring 1998, the location underwent a complete renovation and reopened as SpeedZone. This iteration of the family entertainment center ceased operations permanently on February 18, 2020.
