Sega World Shimokabeya

Sega World Shimokabeya (セガワールド 下神谷, sometimes Romanized as “Shimo Kamiya”) was an arcade owned and operated by Sega in Tairashimokabeya, part of the city of Iwaki in Fukushima, Japan. Little is known about its history, though archived copies of Sega’s website suggest it was open by October 1999 at the latest and was still around by February 2002 (by which time the first floor had at least one Virtua Fighter 4 machine and the second floor had a large amount of medal games). Unsubstantiated reports claim it closed at some point around late 2011.
