Aladdin’s Castle: Eastgate Mall

An arcade venue for the Eastgate Mall, Aladdin’s Castle was a popular destination for shoppers and arcade enthusiasts. Situated within the newly opened mall in 1980, it was a well-known feature of the shopping center through at least 1989. As a franchise, Aladdin’s Castle was a common sight in American shopping malls, and this location was part of a larger, nation-wide chain of arcades. The arcade is now permanently closed, and the mall itself has seen a significant decline in tenants, with a different arcade now operating in its place.
