Belden Village Mall # 4267, Canton, OH 44718-2560
An iconic fixture of the American shopping mall, this Aladdin’s Castle location was a popular destination within the Belden Village Mall for local and regional youth. It was part of a massive arcade chain that peaked in the early 1980s, offering a wide array of video games and prize-redemption machines. The arcade chain was started in 1969 and was eventually acquired by Bally Manufacturing in 1974, which expanded the brand extensively. While a specific closing date for the Canton venue is not documented, the national Aladdin’s Castle brand became defunct after the final location was rebranded in 2021.
