Gattitown is a sub-brand of Mr. Gatti’s Pizza, a chain of pizzerias whose locations frequently include arcade games (primarily redemption games, complete with prize counter). This specific location was built where Southpark Meadows, an outdoor music venue, was previously located. As a result, one of its dining rooms features a large mural celebrating the live music experience, depicting several artists who played there in the past.
The location opened on October 11th, 2007, hosting celebratory events (including live music, a local magician, and educational crafts) through the 14th. Customers who brought in new or like-new balls were given $10 game cards, with their donations and part of the weekend’s proceeds ($5,000 in total) going to Boys & Girls Clubs of the Capital Area.
In October 2025, the location was bought by the office of Texan businessman/philanthropist G. Brint Ryan. It was previously the last Gatti’s that remained owned by the company itself (not a franchise).
