This Aladdin’s Castle was a popular video arcade and an original tenant of the Baybrook Mall, which opened in 1978. Situated next to the mall’s movie theater, it was a well-remembered hangout for many years. The venue was part of a large national chain of mall-based arcades that peaked in the early 1980s. This location was later replaced by a “Tilt” arcade before closing permanently. The entire Aladdin’s Castle brand is now defunct, with the last of its locations closing by 2022.
