Located within Madison’s East Towne Mall, this Aladdin’s Castle was a popular destination for arcade gaming for many years. As a franchise, Aladdin’s Castle was known for its family-friendly environment within shopping malls, a concept that began in 1969. This Madison location was a fixture in the mall, remembered for classic games like Journey and being situated in the same wing as a Record Town music store. At some point, the venue was renamed Cyberstation before it eventually closed. By May 2009, there were reportedly no longer any arcade machines operating in the mall, marking the end of its era.
