Aladdin’s Castle was a popular arcade and a fixture of the Carolina East Mall during the 1980s and 1990s. As part of a well-known national chain, this location provided a classic arcade experience for shoppers and local youth. The venue was a social hub where patrons enjoyed numerous popular video games of the era. The arcade closed when the Carolina East Mall underwent significant decline and was ultimately demolished in the mid-2000s to make way for new development.
