This Aladdin’s Castle arcade was a popular entertainment destination within the MeadowBrook Village Mall. As part of a prominent national chain, it was a familiar fixture for shoppers and a dedicated hangout for youth and arcade enthusiasts from the 1970s through the 1990s. The venue operated during the peak era of mall arcades, offering a wide variety of video games and prize-redemption machines. The arcade ceased operations when its parent company, Namco, closed most locations in the late 1990s and the mall underwent a major redevelopment beginning in 2000.
