Aladdin’s Castle at Normandy Mall was a popular video game arcade located within Jacksonville’s first enclosed shopping mall. For years, it provided a source of entertainment for mall patrons and local residents on the city’s Westside. The arcade was part of the bustling commerce of the mall which began to decline in the late 1980s. This Aladdin’s Castle location permanently closed along with the mall itself in 1994.
