Located within The Oaks Mall, Aladdin’s Castle was a popular arcade that served as a social hub for many Gainesville residents, particularly during the 1980s and 90s. As part of a prominent national chain, this venue offered a classic arcade experience with a variety of video games and was a memorable spot for birthday parties. The arcade was a fixture in the mall for many years before it permanently closed. It is remembered as a significant part of the local culture from that era.
