Aladdin’s Castle was an arcade located within the Riverbend Mall, which opened on September 18, 1975. The arcade was a tenant in what was Northwest Georgia’s first shopping mall. As a popular gathering spot, it was part of a chain of mall-based arcades that were common throughout the country in that era. The entire Riverbend Mall, including the space once occupied by Aladdin’s Castle, was permanently closed and demolished in 2002. The site has since been redeveloped into a strip mall.
