Located within the Sawmill Square Mall, once known as the Laurel Mall, Aladdin’s Castle was a popular destination for arcade gaming enthusiasts. As a franchise location, it was a familiar beacon for players, offering a wide array of video games and pinball machines during the 1980s. This venue was a common feature in malls across the country, providing a dedicated space for entertainment and socializing. The Laurel location has since permanently closed, and the mall space it once occupied has been redeveloped. The broader Aladdin’s Castle chain was acquired by Namco in 1993, and over the years, its numerous locations have all ceased operations under the original name.
