Aladdin’s Castle was a video arcade located in the Skagit County Mall. The arcade was part of a large national chain known for its family-friendly environment, which set it apart from the stereotypical arcades of the era. This location was a popular destination for amusement in the Skagit Valley, operating during the peak of arcade gaming culture. Like the vast majority of the chain’s locations, the Mount Vernon arcade is now permanently closed, a reflection of the nationwide decline of mall-based arcades.
