Located within the now-declining University Mall, Aladdin’s Castle was a popular arcade of its time. The venue featured a distinctive green and red storefront and was a part of the larger national chain of mall-based arcades. Like many of its sister locations, it provided a family-friendly amusement space within the shopping center. The Nacogdoches Aladdin’s Castle permanently closed in the late 1990s, following a trend of widespread closures after the parent company was acquired by Namco.
