American Amusement Arcade: Paradise Valley Mall

The American Amusement Arcade was an entertainment venue located at 4550 E. Cactus Rd. in Phoenix, Arizona. This address was part of the Paradise Valley Mall, which first opened to the public in 1978. As a likely tenant of the mall, the arcade provided entertainment to shoppers and local residents for a portion of the mall’s history. The Paradise Valley Mall, including the structures associated with this address, permanently closed on March 31, 2021, and the main building was subsequently demolished.
