B & D Game Center

Located within Tampa’s Floriland Mall, the B & D Game Center was an arcade that operated in the latter part of the 20th century. The game center was a tenant of the mall, which originally opened in 1972 as one of the area’s first enclosed shopping centers. As of 1990, the B & D Game Center was a listed amusement operator within the mall. The Floriland Mall faced significant decline due to competition, leading to high vacancy and its eventual closure as a retail center. The mall property was later converted into an office complex, marking the end of its time as a shopping and entertainment venue.
