Backstreet Classic Arcade

Backstreet Classic Arcade, located at 118 E Water Street in Lincolnton, North Carolina, opened its doors around April 2026, offering a dedicated space for classic arcade and pinball entertainment. Founded by local collectors Randy Silver and Shane Reel, the venue was established to share their passion for vintage gaming with the community. The arcade features a rotating selection of classic coin-operated video games such as Pac-Man, Space Invaders, Donkey Kong, Galaga, Dig Dug, Gyruss, Mortal Kombat 2, and various Mario titles, along with pinball machines including modern Stern titles like The Walking Dead, Jurassic Park, and Deadpool. Silver and Reel are noted for their commitment to preserving the authentic arcade experience by using original hardware and CRT monitors in their restored machines.

Situated in the heart of Lincolnton’s social district, Backstreet Classic Arcade serves as a family-friendly recreational hub, encouraging social interaction among players who experience games side-by-side. The establishment allows patrons to bring in alcoholic beverages, adhering to guidelines that prevent drinks from being placed on the machines. With its emphasis on classic games, the arcade provides an opportunity for older generations to revisit their youth while introducing these historical forms of entertainment to a new audience.
