A popular video arcade located within the Prince of Orange Mall, Barrel of Fun was a well-known entertainment spot for the Orangeburg community. Patrons enjoyed a wide selection of the era’s most popular arcade games, from fighting games to classic shoot ’em ups. Situated near the former Key Catalog Showroom anchor store, the arcade was a vibrant part of the mall’s early life after the shopping center opened in 1984. The arcade is now permanently closed and no longer resides within the mall.
