The Blue Lagoon was a popular water slide park that opened in 1981, attracting visitors from all around the region to Vacaville. Its towering water slides were a familiar sight for travelers along the nearby interstate. The park ceased operations in the early 1990s, though its abandoned structures remained a local landmark for years. The property was eventually sold in 2013, and the former site of the water park is now home to the New Life Church.
