Bullwinkle’s Family Food N’ Fun opened in Santa Clara on June 14, 1982, serving as the first and prototype location for the restaurant chain. Located near Homestead Road and Lawrence Expressway, the venue was a competitor to other family entertainment centers and featured an arcade, themed dining rooms, and character-based attractions. Its main draw was the “Moosetronics” animatronic show, which starred characters from *The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show*. The restaurant operated for fourteen years before permanently closing in 1996, after which the building was converted for other uses.
