Emagine Monticello originally opened in its current form in 2004, replacing a theater that opened back in 1949 (which is where the Muller Brothers got their start in the industry). Then named “Monticello Theatre 15,” it featured 15 screens – one of which was an 80 foot-wide “Muller Monster Screen.” In 2016, Mike Muller sold off all his theaters, with Emagine Entertainment taking over by December. Under their ownership, the number of screens was reduced to 12. The location also features an arcade with some pinball machines, as well as an axe-throwing room.
