Gold Coast Roller Rink

Gold Coast Roller Rink was the longest operating Skating rink in South Florida history running continuously for 64 years from 1947 until its permanent closure and demolition in 2011.

Originally opening in 1947 as Sanford Roller Rink owned and operated by Charles Sanford, it would eventually be sold and rebranded as Gold Coast Roller Rink. The rink would undergo renovations and a grand reopening in 2007 under the ownership of Joe Latona. The rink had one final night on August 15 2011 before the building was demolished less than a month later on September 9 2011.
