The Golden Nugget Arcade operated as part of the original Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino, which first opened its doors on the Atlantic City Boardwalk on December 12, 1980. This resort, initially developed by Steve Wynn, became a significant establishment in the city’s early casino era, once holding the title of top-earning casino in Atlantic City by 1983. The property underwent several ownership and name changes throughout its history, eventually becoming The Atlantic Club. It ceased operations permanently on January 13, 2014, at which point the Golden Nugget Arcade at this historic boardwalk location also closed. The building associated with this address is currently abandoned and listed for sale.
