The Land Of Oz, more commonly known as The Wizard of Oz arcade, was a popular entertainment venue located within the Amigoland Mall in Brownsville, Texas. Opening around 1974 with the mall, it served as a significant social gathering place for young people throughout the 1980s. The arcade was situated near the restrooms, on an aisle parallel to JC Penney. Following the departure of major anchor stores and the eventual closure of Amigoland Mall in 2001, the arcade ceased operations. The former mall building now houses the Brownsville ITEC Center.
