Le Mans: Towne East Square

Le Mans was a prominent arcade located within the Towne East Square mall at 7700 Kellogg St. E. in Wichita, Kansas. Initially known as Le Mans Speedway, it featured an indoor go-kart track during its early years, likely opening sometime in the late 1970s following the mall’s establishment in 1975. The go-kart track was later removed to expand the arcade game offerings, and the venue became known simply as Le Mans. This arcade was a popular entertainment destination in the 1980s, eventually coming under Bally’s ownership. Le Mans is permanently closed, having ceased operations prior to 2005, when another arcade, Aladdin’s Castle, occupied a space in the same mall.
