Magic Waters

Magic Waters was a water park established in Cherry Valley, Illinois, opening to the public in 1984 under private ownership. Following financial challenges, the Rockford Park District took over its operation in 1988, subsequently developing and expanding its array of water attractions. The venue served as a significant regional amusement destination, featuring various slides and wave pools. In 2019, Six Flags entered into an agreement with the Rockford Park District to operate the property. The park was then rebranded as Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Rockford for the 2020 season, under which name it continues to operate today.
