If there was one place every Miami kid remembers, it was Malibu Grand Prix.
Originally opened as Castle Park, it later became Malibu Grand Prix. The Miami location at 7775 NW 7th Street, near what is now Midway Crossings (formerly Midway Mall then Mall of the Americas), was the largest in the chain. It featured:
* More than 120 arcade games
* Go-karts
* Miniature golf
* Batting cages
* Bumper boats
* Kiddie rides
* A castle-themed arcade building
The property closed after the land was sold in 2000 and has since been redeveloped.
