Rapids On The Reservoir

Rapids On The Reservoir was a prominent outdoor waterpark located on the Rankin County side of the Ross Barnett Reservoir dam in Brandon, Mississippi. Opening in 1984, the park served as a popular summer destination for over two decades. It featured a variety of attractions including a wave pool, a lazy river, several speed slides such as Bonsai, Typhoon, and Black Hole, and a dedicated children’s area called Pirates Cove. The venue, which also included an on-site arcade, permanently ceased operations after its final season in 2007.
