Royal Arcade

The Royal Arcade was an entertainment venue located on the boardwalk in Seaside Heights, New Jersey. It was one of the establishments owned and operated by the Cappetta family, a notable presence in the area’s amusement business since the mid-1950s. The arcade closed permanently around 2012-2013. Its closure followed the widespread damage inflicted upon the Seaside Heights boardwalk by Hurricane Sandy in October 2012 and a subsequent fire in 2013 that affected other family-owned amusement locations.
