The ShowBiz Pizza Place Arlington Heights store at 955 West Dundee Rd, #688 opened its doors on October 7th, 1981 as the third ShowBiz Pizza store in Illinois. It featured the Rock-Afire Explosion show, just like every other ShowBiz Pizza, and was originally a Corporate-owned location. In 1988-1989, Arlington Heights had its Rock-Afire Explosion show and other SPP decor removed and replaced with CEC branding and decor. The location closed on December 6, 2015 and was relocated to 41 W. Rand Road. It was located across from the Ridge Plaza Shopping Mall.
