Southern Lanes – Bowling Green

Southern Lanes has served the Bowling Green, Kentucky community as a multi-attraction entertainment venue since its inception in 1984. The business, a family enterprise owned by Donald Litten, relocated to its current Scottsville Road address around 2004, following an earlier presence on Campbell Lane. The facility remains a recreational hub, featuring 34 bowling lanes, cosmic bowling, a redemption arcade, laser tag, bumper cars, indoor miniature golf, indoor batting cages, and billiards. A pro shop and a full lounge/snack bar are also available on-site.

Over its decades of operation, Southern Lanes has become a significant staple within Bowling Green, providing diverse entertainment options for families and youth. The venue hosts community events, notably its annual free Halloween “Halloweentown” trick-or-treat, which has grown to attract thousands of attendees and offers a safe, fun outlet for local children. Southern Lanes celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2014, continuing its legacy as an integral part of the local entertainment landscape.
