Space Academy was a video arcade located at 118 Second Street in downtown Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Owned by Jeff Heaton, the arcade was part of the area’s early-1980s video game boom and later benefited from a renewed interest in pinball, with games offered at promotional multi-play prices alongside popular titles of the era. Heaton was also a devoted pinball enthusiast, particularly fond of Williams’ Black Knight.
