Pensacola’s University Mall opened in 1974 (demolished 2006). During the 1990s a Time Out near Goody’s served Gulf-Coast gamers with Ridge Racer and ticket cranes until Hurricane Ivan damage hastened both mall and arcade closures in 2004 .
