Located within Tuscaloosa’s University Mall, Barrel of Fun was a video arcade remembered for its distinctive entrance constructed to look like the side of a giant wooden barrel. Opening in the 1980s after the mall’s 1980 launch, it was a popular destination for entertainment. The venue was eventually acquired by Namco and rebranded as a Cyberstation before its eventual closure. Although the original arcade no longer exists, the mall where it was housed remains in operation today.
