This Aladdin’s Castle was a popular arcade located within the Spring Town Plaza shopping center. As part of a well-known national chain, it provided a family-friendly amusement destination for the Big Spring community, likely during the video arcade boom of the late 1970s and 1980s. The arcade was a local hub for entertainment, featuring a variety of video games and amusements before its eventual closure. The parent company, Aladdin’s Castle, was acquired by Namco in 1993, which led to the closure or rebranding of most of its locations nationwide.
