Aladdin’s Castle in Marysville was a video game arcade and a part of the larger, nation-wide chain of the same name. These amusement centers were often located in shopping malls and reached a peak of over 450 locations in the early 1980s. The parent company was acquired by Namco in 1992, which added Pac-Man branding to many locations. This venue is now permanently closed, and the national Aladdin’s Castle brand ceased to exist when its final location was renamed in 2021.
