This Barrel of Fun location operated at 3036 Federal Highway South in Stuart, Florida. Records from circa 1990 confirm its existence as an active location at that time.

Martin Square Mall opened as an indoor mall in October 1981, with Barrel of Fun as one of its opening tenants. It was anchored by stores like JCPenney and Kmart. The mall’s fortunes shifted when the larger Treasure Coast Square mall opened nearby in Jensen Beach in 1987. When JCPenney relocated to the new mall, foot traffic dropped significantly.

In the late 1990s, the enclosed mall structure was demolished and redeveloped into the open-air strip center that exists today, which has hosted anchors like The Home Depot, Staples, and Walgreens.
